Global Medical Direct provides an easy-to-use, cost effective and convenient way for patients to obtain their diabetes supplies and medications through their health plan, employer and government payors such as Medicare and Medicaid. The Company's products include blood glucose meters, test strips and ancillary supplies, insulin pumps and supplies, diabetic shoes and orthopedic inserts and diabetes maintenance medications.

Global Medical Direct is currently hiring for the following positions
Customer Care Manager: This manager will be responsible for the hiring, training and staffing of the Global Medical Direct Customer Care Department. The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience managing call center agents. This candidate should be knowledgable about handling HR issues, managing call center metrics and staff development. Excellent communication skills are essential. Competence and experience using multiple telephonic systems is required. Ideal candidate will have medical call center experience. Candidate will need to be able to roll up their sleeves and to work with customer care coordinators, patients and providers.
Patient Care Coordinators: This position will entail talking with patients utilizing our products and services. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills both telephonic and written. Ideal candidate will have worked as a customer call center representative in a medical services setting. Two to four year s of experience is required.
Bi-lingual Patient Care Coordinators: We are looking for experienced well spoken customer service representative that speak and write English and Spanish fluently. This position will entail talking with patients utilizing our products and services. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills both telephonic and written. Ideal candidate will have worked as a customer call center representative in a medical services setting. Two to four year s of experience is required.
Pharmacy Technician: We are looking for an experienced pharmacy tech who has worked either retail or within a PBM setting. The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience. Candidate will spend 70% of their time on the phone with patients and/or providers securing and confirming prescriptions. Good communication skills is essential and bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.
